Master & Journeyman Plumbing Contractors in Georgia
Residential/Commercial plumbers who need a quick 4-hour CE block
Pros who completed Part 1 and want the second half of their hours
Total CE needed: Most Georgia plumbers complete 8 hours every two-year renewal cycle (commonly 4 hours per year).
When to renew: Your license renews biennially. Check the expiration date printed on your license or in your Georgia licensing portal and finish CE before that date.
Course format: 100% online, self-paced, and no tests.
Proof & reporting: You’ll get an instant certificate for your records. We keep detailed completion records and are available if the Board requests documentation.
If you still need the other 4 hours, take our Part 1 course to round out the full 8-hour cycle.
Step 1 – Confirm Your Renewal Requirements
Check your Georgia renewal cycle and make sure you have completed the required continuing education for your license. Georgia Master and Journeyman Plumbers must complete 4 continuing education hours annually, for a total of 8 hours per renewal.
Step 2 – Complete Your CE Online
Finish your Georgia plumbing continuing education course online. Your progress can be saved so you can log in and out as needed while completing your required hours.
Step 3 – Download and Save Your Certificate
After completing the course, download your certificate of completion and keep it with your records. Georgia plumber licensees must maintain records confirming attendance and satisfactory completion for at least five years after course completion.
Step 4 – Report Your CE in CE Broker
As of January 1, 2026, Georgia licensees who are required to complete continuing education for renewal must register and report their continuing education into CE Broker and record all CE taken in their CE Broker account.
Step 5 – Submit Your Renewal Application
Complete your renewal online through your GOALS account. Georgia plumber license renewal must be completed by November 30 of even-numbered years, and the late renewal period runs from December 1 through December 31 of even-numbered years.
Important Note: Georgia plumber licensees must report on the renewal application whether all applicable continuing education requirements have been met, keep continuing education records for at least five years, and provide those records to the division if requested. Georgia also states that plumbers may be randomly selected for an audit of completed CE hours. As of January 1, 2026, licensees required to complete CE for renewal must also register and report their continuing education into CE Broker and record all CE taken in their CE Broker account.
