✅  How to Renew Your Electrical License (Georgia)

Step 3 – Download and Save Your Certificate
After completing the course, download your certificate of completion and keep it with your records. Georgia licensees must maintain records confirming attendance and satisfactory completion for at least five years in case the state requests documentation.

Step 4 – Report Your CE in CE Broker

Step 5 – Submit Your Renewal Application
Complete your Georgia renewal application and pay any required renewal fees through the state licensing portal. Keep your certificate and CE records with your files in case you are ever audited by the state.

Important Note: Georgia licensees are responsible for maintaining proof of continuing education completion, keeping those records for at least five years, and providing documentation to the state if requested during a renewal review or audit. As of January 1, 2026, licensees required to complete CE for renewal must also register and report their continuing education into CE Broker and record all CE taken in their CE Broker account.
