Course Description

After taking this course, the student will have a greater understanding about the meaning of the more technical terms he or she will be dealing with on a daily basis in the future as an electrician, as all of the National Electrical Code definitions are described throughout the course. The student will also benefit from learning about the general requirements for electrical installations. The best practices for how to make an electrical connection using various types of materials and in different environments are explained, which will make the student a safer electrician as well.

Course Details

This course was designed to provide Electricians with a thorough understanding of all important definitions in the 2017 National Electrical Code as well as code specific requirements for electrical installation and use, and examination and approval of electrical conductors and equipment for enclosures intended for personnel entry as well as tunnel installations.
